Moroccan magazine TelQuel continues to break new ground with a great special issue on... women. In tribute to the issue's subject matter, the magazine has temporarily feminized its name to "TelleQuelle" and run a striking cover photo.
Unfortunately, the full stories are not online, but there is a great snippet about two Casablanca-based all-female hard-rock outfits called Mystic Moods and Glam Insane. These new voices of teen angst in a society where about 60% of people are under the age of 20 seems to indicate that young Moroccan women are finding new ways to rebel. Turn it up, man, it's freedom rock!
