Here's an important story we missed last month. 31 human rights organizations from across the Middle East have signed onto a petition demanding action to stop genocide in Sudan. Quite specifically, their opening demand is that the Sudanese regime "accept the deployment of UN forces in Darfur to monitor the implementation of the Abuja Peace Agreement and protect civilians."

Nothing less than a worldwide fast-until-the-genocide-stops will be enough to stop it.
Nothing less will be a sufficient moral response.
Nothing less will preserve our humanity, yours and mine.

my boss told me that when he went to Sudan he couldnt go to the petroleum areas by the car because the rebels will start firing at anything moves near their fortune wells.
the problem there is caused by greed of sudanese, each ethic wants to have the wealth in its area, sudan not only has much oil ( i fthings calm they can produce around 12 million barrel a day ,3 ml barrels more than Saudi Arabia) over that they got mountains of Plutonium
